Our Worst Day....

.....so far this year. It was only 1 hr 15 mins on 2 different fields. But we could tell our 'punt' was a waste of time & we had started in the rain just after all the thunder & lightning had stopped, so got pretty wet.
I at least got a Tudor Button, which was something....

still looks better than pull tabs and wire. i can still manage to find a pull tab or ring out in the middle of no where. lol I did a quick one earlier, in between commitments, found 22 bullets, brass and of course, pull tabs. Yours at least are cool.

I know we have enjoyed far too much luck recently, its time to remember the early days when this scarce type of button was my first of its type. Now I have about 10 but I still enjoy finding them, as it gave us a glimmer of hope for a hammered.

Many people think 'all' our fields are full of goodies, the reality is different.

You can't compare this day to those, it has it's own category.

At the son's new house last night did a little MD'ing, that yard is so clean I didn't think my detector was working at times. Found one Lincoln penny.....ONE!
They have a septic tank so I'm not going after that deep loud signal.
