Lake hunt, five wheats.

I did two, two hour hunts today, clad, allot of 65's, 67's, no silver. I found five wheaties and only managed one date 1945. Plenty of shoreline to hunt here, I'm getting dialed in with my water hunting tactics. I'm sure I gave the poor lifeguard girl a few laughs watching me wallowing around in the water! Lol

I was pinpointing with my machine, then I would work my way down to the coil and was using a hand scoop. I got pretty good, getting the target on first scoop. Not many targets deeper than 2 inches. Perfect day for it, little rain, not allot out people around. I'll do a beach hunt this weekend down the shore. I figured out a place where I won't be fighting the waves from the surf. I'm on a water quest

Thanks guys for the comments, this spot is exciting for me because of the dates I'm getting off the coins in lucky enough to find are in that silver range.I also like that it is close to home which makes it convenient. Last summer I water hunted just a little bit, so this feels new and fun. It's giving me a break from that feeling of being a Jehovah witness/vacuum cleaner salesman. I have one permission I want to get that will have me knocking. That place has the possibility of being like one of Vino's sites, which would pull me away from the cool cool water in a heartbeat. Sweating for the oldies, is worth hunting in the heat.
