Well after a great Sun and Tues I decided to stop again at the old tavern site on my way home. The field was finally drying out enough that I could detect the low spots so off I went. Well It took a while to get my first good hit but in the end I was to be rewarded once again. Final total Is 2 pipe stems, 2 flat buttons, some spoon pieces, a musket ball, a toe plate, the smallest pewter buckle Ive ever found and a 180? draped bust large cent. My wife says 1801 I say 1803. Either way a nice find and my forth large cent this week.

Ya gotta love that ratio of days and cents.

Fine job!
