hmmm.... I'm not sure when this award was established. I was a cub scout in the early 70's, and I don't recall ever hearing of this award. Qualifications for it sound simple enough though.... National Summertime Pack Award

They teach scouts a lot of different things it seems, but hanging onto their equipment apparently isn't one of them. I found 2 bolo's this spring on separate hunts. I bet that one made you happy while you cleaned off the lettering.
