Hi everybody!! Had a nice afternoon hunt yesterday that yielded a killer ring find. I thought it was gold, but when my wife looked at it, she new it was platinum by the PLAT inside. Thanks for checking it out and good luck out there

Platinum,you can be sure that diamond is real.I like your enthusiasm,you should be on the radio.I thought I saw a guy walking buy with a machine in the background while you where in the car.Looks like the ol boy is a little late for that one.

Is it 18k or platinum? I hate to be the naysayer but you mentioned it rang up as a quarter. You sure it's not 18k plated over silver? Take it to jeweler. GL!

Great ring, I'm confused why it say's 18k and Plat.. I think its 18k gold with platinum plating. The diamond is real and a very nice clear stone. Something to get tested, appraised and insured. Its worth more than $1000 easy !!

Nothing against you D.C. but I cant do video here tried it many times, hate the waiting a couple of minutes and then get 20 seconds of play then wait again its a viscous cycle. Glad to hear you got a decent ring, I got one once that looked about like yours it said D with a diagonal cross line inside it and Ster. inside the band and I am guessing it is CZ probably.

I see the 18k mark...why do you think its platinum...if its marked 18k and plat then the band is 18k and the setting is plat...great find either way...congrats.

Done and done! And it is real for sure. So now we know platinum will ring up like silver. Who'd a thunk it?

Understand my man! No worries. It's real though. And the rock on top is as well. Keep at it and more then sterling can pop out. I've had a couple .925 rings so far. Nothing like this though. Thanks again
