Hi all. Hope your Friday was good to you. Got out today and decided to go to a park I had never been to before. Was only there 10 minutes and decided to swing toward a volleyball net. I looked down and saw this lying on the ground....

I looked around and saw no one so I picked it up and turned it over...

Given the location of this park, Point, it very well could have. If it had been the real deal, I would have called the cops for sure. Since it's an air pistol, I tried a co2 cartridge and it still works great.

If you do happen to decide to take it to the Police, make sure you leave it laying outside and tell them to go pick it up. Don't carry it in and say I found this! LOL

@Oregon Viking....thanks for that info. I downloaded the online PDF manual for it. The thing never needs oiling except wiping the metal down occasionally with an oily rag. I found the missing clip for it on EBay and it's on it's way. I beIieve it said it's range was 235 yds.

Dang man that looks like it can get you shot by the real deal. Some kid was probably lucky he lost it and you found it to be honest. Not something to just be carrying around in a public park. Which is kinda suspect in itself but whatever. Sell that bugger and getcha some happy meals ;)

BB guns aren't traceable like that, there's no forms to fill out, therefore no numbers or names recorded. I'm not sure those are even numbered, but if they were the closest you'd get is likely the Wal Mart down the road.

Nice find! I have one somewhere that I used to keep the rats from the abandoned house around the corner away... It won't kill them, but they sure don't appreciate the zing...

How about cross referencing the make model serial manufacturing number with any warranty cards on file at the manufacturer?

Or maybe, find what store carried it and trace it back through a credit card number used to purchase it.

Or maybe check the police records to see if it has been reported as stolen and then see who reported it.

Heckfire!!! They even record the serial number on every graham cracker that was bitten into the shape of a G-U-N nowadays! (I spelled it because I think it's illegal to say that out loud now. :dontknow:

Should I go on? LOL

:dontknow:

I have no doubt this could have gotten some violent response from law enforcement or anyone carrying a weapon if it was pointed at someone. Except for the wing nut at the base of the grips, it does indeed look real, especially under those circumstances I just mentioned.

Thanks OV, but if you noticed, this particular model is no longer made and since it is in great working order, it may just be a good " pest " gun.
