Video just added of the totals from this trip.
I am sorry for the long wait.

Here a totals video on all the trash that I removed from this spot too, nothing interesting other than cleaning up our creeks. :)

*Note* I already posted this in the Gold Prospecting forum but wanted to share it here too. :)

Heya everyone;

I have a couple neat finds to share with you today, the pendant was found yesterday and the ring was last week. :)

First up.

1961 Silver Bear pendant, Swedish import hallmark.
I found this one yesterday at the back of a swimming hole that has been used as such since prospectors hit this area.
This is not the first silver I have found here, I found a Mercury Dime the last time I was there.
I have not really figured out the maker yet, KP, so any help is appreciated. :)

I think that KP might be K.E. Palmberg who designed for Alton but I am not 100% sure.

Next is a really neat silver plated ring that has lost most of the silver.
I found this one about a week ago sniping the bottom of some rapids.
This is almost certainly the end of a spoon that was fashioned into a ring.

Do you guys have any idea what the primary metal is? It gets warm really quick and no greening, maybe bronze?
Could you guys give me an idea of possible date too?

I've seen one of those bear pendants posted on here some time back - maybe a year or more ago - I'm guessing from the three
crowns mark on the back - that it's Swedish . Nice Find .

Thanks guys, yup it is a 1961 Swedish import. :) Good eye!

Also, that was probably me that posted it, this is a really old thread but I never uploaded the video due to internet issues.

That pendant is also 83% silver by weight, the "S" stamp is a purity mark. 83% was the standard purity of Swedish silver.

Thanks UnderMiner, I didn't know that is what the S meant. :occasion14:
