Congrats on the SLQ, with a date!!! :occasion14: super nice condition... I found one two weeks weeks ago but w/o a date.. pretty worn. That quarter will clean up real nice just give it a soak in some vinegar..

Great SLQ! Something that lead thing is very interesting. Hope you find out exactly what it is.

Thank you very much guys.
After a little vinegar soak I want to post some decent photos of it if you guys aren't already tired of seeing it.
I think I'm actually just going to put the vinegar on that one side.. Leaving the clean side natural.
Even the ridges around the outside of this coin are sharp still.

I'm still trying to figure that thing out I'm pretty sure it's lead the letters correspond to the name of the town I found it in... there is the letter J on one side the letter B on the other side.
Almost seems like 1 of those scallop edge bale seals smashed flat and made into a token of some kind.. Or a game please

Thanks.. Yeah..putting in work dirtlooter... Back there in the a.m.
No pain no gain.
Seriously.. I don't discriminate much at all with my machine..even though I can
I'm much better at hearing what's a good target than the machine is at guessing if it's one based one a bunch of variables... Plus lots of low tones are nice finds....it all depends on the site.
I also find a lot of good targets masked by other objects/trash.. from one or more direction often lost to discrimination.
I can also tell a lot by where the trash is thick
