A friend (redtop) as he is known on here sent me this..He was detecting down at the beach In Maryland. .They were about 12inch down in wet sand..
Not sure if they are real??
If anyone knows..And im sure you know

I'd bet my Etrac that they are fakes. The rim never looks like that...especially on an 1800's 8reale

I used the old "They were in my area and I didn't find them. Combined with the ole I can tell just by looking", techniques.
