Thought I'd give the place one more try

All I got was a button last time, but I didn't want to judge on the strength of one trip.
So, I tried another 3 hours:

2014 (662).jpg

Better, I suppose. But, with the heat, the dry ground and all. It just wasn't worth the effort.

Funny thing though. I happened to tell the man upstairs that I understood not having an "exit find" today.
Tough place! Even for the Lord! LOL

That was BEFORE I dug the watch, "on the way back to the car". LOL Never underestimate! LOL

At least Blingie's happy. I'm content, just tired! :)

Thanks for peeking!

Surprised you got out there today.

It was a little muggy.

Clad and a modern watch? Sounds like a trip to another of your many parks.

Found an interesting site myself today (at least on paper).

Park with ball fields, with an 18th century home site.

Two mints in one.

Yeah, it was a bit too much for me today. But, I just HAD to get out! :)
It was a very small community park that appears to have stopped using the ball field, (growing over).

Not exactly hidden but not readily apparent by driving by either. Worth a try but appears to be rather dry. :dontknow:

I'm thinking I need a trip to the mansion. Always makes me feel better. Trouble is, time is at a premium with the holiday coming up.
Oh well, there will be somewhere when I do have time. :)

Thanks!

The case and the band aren't very good but since this watch is rated to 10ft. Maybe, just maybe, a new battery and it will start again. :dontknow:

Thanks!

I was thinking you need to dig that time and date after talking with the man upstairs.

Oh, don't misunderstand. I very much am aware of some of the "hints" He drops my way. When the watch stopped was one of the first things I noticed. The little window shows it between Sat and Sun. So, PM. :)

Oh I would never poo-poo the finds for the day. Even if there aren't any. I still got what I came for. :)

And, yep, I can attest to the clad adding up, I'm measuring mine by weight now. LOL

Still, couldn't the watch have been a Rolex? ;)

Blingie and Fishy are going to end up with a hernia trying to tote that watch around! Looks like your good for a long time!

This must be watch week! A few others found watches too, the one I got Sunday was a cheap clip on, I first thought it was part of the chrome side strip off a car till I got it home and cleaned the dirt out of it!
Well the WBTC (way back to car) seems to be working for you!
We need more rain here or I'll need a jack hammer next trip out!

Hope you find something really special at the Mansion!

I had a pretty dry week or so a while back and just before dark I said a little prayer and dug up an 1881 Indian Head about one minute later.
I had been cleaning out the trash in the spot but I have no doubt that the prayer helped. It certainly can't hurt, that's for sure.

You just never know.
