glad you are out and about, hate the bugs, especially the deer flies and the mosquitoes and the chiggers and the ticks and the gnats.... boy the list just goes on and on but when they are bad, they can really make you miserable! that is a really nice looking park, probably still has plenty of good stuff just waiting for you to find. the cigar would make me sick. LOL Jerry

I keep getting the suggestion to get a bottle of garlic pills and take a couple before I go out. Apparently this is a loggers trick to deal with ticks, and I've heard it works with squito's too.

I use Garlic Powder on almost everything I eat.

maybe this is why Mosquito's don't like me

It was worth getting out just to see the eagle.

I've seen two bald eagles in my entire life in my area. One was this past spring, soaring over the river the day the rainbow trout were stocked. If you follow the eagles you'll find the fish.

There's actually a website where you can report your sightings at:

Bald Eagle Info & Photos - American Bald Eagle Information

They like to keep a record of the populations, migrations, etc.

Thanks for the pics.

The Susquehanna has a big population now. It is one of the greatest accomplishments that has happened during my lifetime. You'll be back to normal in no time Jeff.

Sorry to see you didn't dig the find of a lifetime, but it's good to see you are out and detecting after the issue you had with your ankle.

Oh and that's a fantastic photo of the Eagle!
