Some of these have already been posted here. Some recent finds.

Coins. Perhaps i'll find a silver one some day. Or then i won't. :tongue3:

Padlocks and keys. I've found 2 more locks that didn't make it to the picture.

Bracelet?, buttons, rings, watch winding key.

Caplock pistol barrel, pistol balls, D-buckle, Swiss silver pocket watch, spoon handles.

Yes, i used a saw to get the watch open. There was no other way.

Location for some of the older finds. I've been told that there are old ruins on that hill. I have permission to everything shown in the picture.

I got the bigger stuff outside but it's dark now. And i am not bringing them indoors. :laughing7:

Looks like you have some fun spots to hunt, just a matter of persisting against the odds, silver will turn up eventually, if ever used in coinage there !

Before 1917. But silver wasn't something you'd carry around. They were mostly hidden from constant raids. And only used with caution. Coins etc. were sometimes thrown into the fields if there was no time.

I decided to go back there. The first signal was also the last.

The leg part of a bird pendant. Usually worn by women. Historically an important find. I don't know the exact date for this yet but it's probably at least 1000 years old. Wasn't more than 2 inches deep.

Stick marks the spot.

A picture of a bird pendant without legs found by another detectorist.
