Tried the curbside Saturday, slim pickins. So I went back to the park that gave up a few silvers in the past. Would you believe it, my first target was a merc. I thought it sounded like a quarter and the signal was jumpy but in the right VDI numbers 12:47, 12:48. The park had replaced a walkway to a pavilion and play area. The coin was in a clump of hard packed dirt just next to the new sidewalk. Too bad I missed the sidewalk tear out. I managed about ~$5.00 in clad, an old pull tab from the sixties, a piece of brass and a compass. Here are the pics. Thanks for looking..
