Hadn't tried to clean this one till last night. Found out it was carved out and the voids full of dirt. Somebody destroyed a fairly good Buffalo nickel.

Probably a cooler way to destroy a Buffalo nickel than the untold millions that were (and are) domed and made into buttons .
That's good work with a drill, and a tiny jewelers saw blade to create that !

I found a silver washington quarter done that way once, but it was bent and the silver was soft and it broke in half.

I cut a lot of coins like that in the late 70's and gave them to people. I should have stamped my initials on them. Lol. They were real popular jewelry back then. I think it's a cool find!
