So i pulled a Uturn on my way to the farmers market this morning to pick up a labelled free box at the end of someones driveway. There was various junk inside, hangers, tupperware, and a ziplock bag with these pins and an old russian towel.

It was a random find for what else was with it in the box.

This worth anything for selling? I'm curious about the pins history and story if anyone knows something.

Thanks. :)

I just bought two Russian political pins last month. I believe one has a commemorative date of 1979 (I gave them as a present so I can't verify). I gave around $7 a piece for them. I would easily say you could get $100-150 if you are able to part them out.

That's one heck of a score.
It definitely pays to stop at those "free" spots. You just never know.

Here's some of mine that were attached to a Russian side cap (Pilotka). There's 60 of them attached on it. Not as many as you got for free. I have a couple dozen more now since then, but they are in a box somewhere.

Yes, Air Force, Motorized Rifles and Communications. I know they are not correct but it was free more or less at a garage sale.
