Yes!!! Been at it five years, same place 100 times. I've found Williams cleaner bullets, 44 cal pistol bullets, and an 1876 dime, but to my surprise ten minutes into it finding absolutely nothing bam!!! 48 on my minelab

Yea, I think I will. Just can't do it. I'm a silver smith, so might try an buy a replica, and make me a sterling one. I know how to spin cast. Just make a mold out of a replica, burn it out, and cast. Got enough silver for a few.

Thanks y'all! Well I've been gettin told to have it repaired, but where or who would I use?? I'd be scared they'd just replace it with a new molded one. I live in mississippi I wouldn't have the slightest clue as in who to trust. Could I watch them fix it? Lol

Can't recall the name right now, I'll have to search it up, but there's a guy in Alabama that several different posters have used in the past with extraordinary results repairing their finds. If I can locate it I'll post it here for you.

I don't think I'll ever find one of those where I live.
Then again......

Congrats.

My banner vote will be cast in five. ANY and ALL CSA buckles are so super rare that it oughta be up there. Even if they wanna wait a month. I'd leave it like it is. It has character! If you wanna darken the shovel ding, put a drop of muratic acid on it and bury it for six months (preferably in your BEDROOM!) Check with an expert, but a buddy of mine did that to some CW brass and it did great - but don't do it on my say-so without consulting the smart guys. Many, many congrats!

Fantastic find. Get it repaired. Contact member Quindy he can give you the name and number of the guy that did his and show you some before and after. So rare and because you snagged it in the road it is well worth the restoration. Here is the guy who can tell you more.

Thanks y'all, but I've slept on it and decided to just keep it the way it is for now. Just can't do it. Now if I find more.... Then maybe I will, but for now it'll be aight.

Now you got me wanting to go out into my OLD DIRT ROAD in front of my home and dig the 2 signals that have been there forever. But this ground is just like concrete. One says 6" and the other 7". Maybe after breakfast and before the games start. I better hurry.....

Congratulations to you sir, there is nothing like digging one of those, you won't ever forget that for the rest of your life. I voted banner as well. Seems like the powers that be could put mine on one end of the banner and yours on the other if it doesn't bump off someone else's' finds?

Yea limitool, this ground was concrete also. Thats one reason I scraped it. Having to slide the shovel down an out just to take up some dirt. Surprised me, heck I've probably passed it up before. Only reason I dug was that was the first signal other than iron.
