Yep, that sun may be slightly less hot nowadays but as clear as it's been, it can be devastating. Especially up there in your thin air!

Pa. struck me as so beautiful and so full of places that my last lil mini road trip was spent all north of the Line. I enjoyed it so much!

I know what you mean about the sun... looks like you didn't have too many places to hide from it... unless you were just going to detect under that tree all day. The back of my neck is so tan from detecting it looks like a leather sofa, and my back is so pale in comparison. Looks hilarious. Nice finds.

actually No. there were a couple spots where the ground was soft.
but most is baked hard
