It was random stroll through the woods in my normal spot. Picked up 2 Wheats early on so I slowed down my sweep speed. With in a couple of feet I picked up a walker. Ok, time to start a grid. Photos tell the rest.

There was nothing visually significant about this spot, but all my finds were concentrated to an half football field size area. I'm thinking something significant happened here in the early 1900s. Maybe a market or camp of some sort.

This site just keeps on giving. The half was laying on top of the ground. I literally brushed the leaves away and there it was.

Still scouring the honey hole. Found my first 1 Real today and a silver three pence a couple of days ago. Also dug some kind of button/collar stud/your guess is a good as mine.
