    Victorian pocket watch case

Hey folks. Found this a few weeks ago and just got around to cleaning it. Philadelphia watch case Co, 1868-1886. Serial number 460488. Found lots of pocket watch parts scattered all over the field...man I wish it was complete!!

Still a nice find even though it's incomplete.

You freed another lost treasure from the Earth and brought it back into the light.

Nice piece. Looks like it was pretty ornate. Would have been nice if it was intact.

Lol at least yours is intact. I found gears, the coil/cog winding mechanism, the back, one of the inside plates and the top loop. Just need the face and rest of the guts and I'll be happy. Well, maybe a fob and winder too, but I don't wanna get too greedy lol
