Found this beside a old foundation in the woods up here in Nova Scotia. It was bent already when I dug it at about 4". I didn't have long to hunt the new spot but I'm hoping there will be some old us coins that got lost along with it since it's was a u.s. railway! :)

railway stuff is always cool, my grandfather retired from the Kansas City Southern, my son-n-law is an engineer on it now.

I love the old railway relics! I found a old baggage check tag earlier this year.

I want to dig out a tag I found a long time ago. I assumed it was a old cow tag but doing some research on the old railroad tags I may have been wrong. I didn't clean it very well at the time to see if it had more than just a big number. :)
