Hello All. Hunted a new site, a 1930's house with an old church lot next to it. The house is still in use but the church is long gone. The owner says it has been hunted before but they missed a lot of stuff.

Dug some of the usual stuff like Wheaties, cosmetics, hardware, ammo, a bit of silver, a common soap token and the unusual like Chinese coins and one really weird token that I cannot find out much about.

Thanks for tuning in and let me know what you think. Good luck this week end, going to start mine early today. C9.

TC-105713; TAMS 005397 *** This may have something to do with kitchen gadjets? It may date from about 1928 - 1930's, and have something to do with the Central States Manufacturing Company, and the Dazey Churn & Manufacturing company of St. Louis ???? (Hank T.)

I don't think this was for the "Speedo" in contemporary culture...

Hello again idahotokens. Thanks for the reply on this token. Using your 'kitchen gadgets" tip, I found this...it a juicer!! Maybe D. D. Evans, The Speedo Man, was the Ron Poppiel of the era. Regards, C9.

Yep, the SPEEDO logo on the token matches the one on the juicer which apparently was made by the Dazey Churn & Mfg. Co. of St. Louis. Now if we could only figure out who, when, and where D. D. Evans was...
