I headed to my father's yard again today to see what else I could pull out of his lawn and I ended up with a few more keepers. I thought the dime was pretty cool. It appears to be encrusted in cement. Also I found what I think is a gold plated fake watch pendant. The face has the hands printed on it but it still appears to be very old. The other items I'm not too sure on. Maybe a little help from you guys? His house dates back to the late 1800s and was built by the delaware and Hudson canal company. I don't think anything from today's hunt dates back that far but I'm still trying!

I love hunting old canal sites, when I used to live in Jersey I used to hunt the old D&R and Morris Canal sites with good results. If you can post a picture of the items in question individually it help a great deal

Cool finds.
That's strange that the hands are printed on the face. Ya' think maybe it's a toy for a kid or something??

Here are some close ups. The watch thing has a loop on the top to maybe hook onto a chain for a necklace. The fake dial is metal with the numbers and hands painted on. It appears to be gold plated. The copper thing has a clip for the back which fell off when I dug it. The small gold thing I have absolutely no clue what it can be but it was deep in the ground and in that part of the yard if it's more then 2 inches down its old. And then the last item I'm thinking may be a large button. The house was built by d&h when they layed the tracks. When they put the tracks through there they built my father's house (which was a saloon downstairs and boarding rooms upstairs), a house next to his (which from what I've heard someone in the higher ups of d&h lived there but the house burned in the 70s and my father's addition is built there), and a train station across the street ( which they tore down maybe 8 years ago). So there's definitely some history here that I've been finding over the past year since I've gotten my detector.

Looks like you have a suspender clip as well. But that watch thing sure is interesting.

Nice finds! Congrats!

Yep the round thing is a hem weight. The watch is probably costume jewelry from back in the day.
