Found last week with Bergie at a old site. I quess its some kind of token for being safe conscious at work.

Maybe given to an employee when they were a safe worker for a certain amount of time.

Trade it in for? A day off one would hope.

Yes it is a type of incentive. I work for a building contractor and this is a Kiewitt (PKS Logo gave it away) safety token that could be redeemed for items that were picked out for that project, whichever it was. Our incentive was golf balls, you could hit them at a placed hole and depending on how close you got was the incentive that you won, fairly cheezy. Most of our guys just took the golf balls home. Someone lost their incentive token, hopefully they didn't loose there focus on safety!!
