You guessed it, I hit that location again and it didn't disappoint..slowly working myself uphill, now instead of using my shovel, now I am using a masons trowel and a scoop and carefully working the dirt since I am starting to get intact bottles (finally)

Since we are expected to get over 1 inch of rain on thursday, it should be perfect since the water coming downhill would create a natural sluice..

The one bottle looks like my "sperm" bottle I found this weekend haha.... Did that come out wrong?

Unfortunately, none of these bottles were embossed, what really perks my interest, is that I am finding multiple torpedo bottle frags, I can only hope i find a few intact.

Thanks bud, nice screen, looks like mine..lol..I wish I could use my machine here but there is a ton or rusted metal frags everywhere, I think screening the area is the most effective, also given that the location is on a hillside at an extreme angle, I even have to dig footholds..the plus side, given the angle, the deepest I have to dig is at the most 12"..

Sounds like standing up straight after a while might feel less than great... I've been there ... Besides the fact the metal detector wouldn't find the bottles marbles buttons pipes and whatever else comes out when it comes down to the point that you've cleared the area out somewhat you might want to add some magnets to your rake.. Pull out all the little iron fragments... then try the detector again I've found nice coins that way

Well through the loupe and looking closely under the "Five Cents" there appears to be a D...shame I could pull a date on it...because it has all the markers for being a three legged buffalo nickel...imho

Maybe a three and a half leg I can see some of what would be the fourth leg

Now only if I can find some more markers on this buffalo to either confirm or deny that it's a 3-3 1/2 legger
