First Large Cent

I was out today in an area that has some history back to 1833. I am sure this area has been hit heavy over the years. Was shocked when I actually found a 1822 large cent. I thought I was a clad half dollar at first. The new Etrac gave a solid signal. I cleaned it prior to the photos.

i find a lot of those in Ithaca and Elmira, you go slow and pick out those deep signals youll find more. the thin ones sink pretty deep, lol
