Well it's been a little while but that just makes it all that much nicer when we do get out. We hit up a nice little spot that my daughter had told me about, sure looked like a good spot from Google Earth. We did fairly well but I couldn't get on the silver but I was happy with the relics I did get.

Group shot without the watch key (couldn't locate it for the pic but fond it later.)

I guess the large cent is good for scale, because that key would have been 6 or 7 inches long.
The watch winder is a cool little find.

That was a bit of a strange place with no real heavy iron. Wonder if the real hot spot might be in the very tall grass, or closer to the road ? with those type of house items I can't help but think there is patch near there.

Nothing wrong with that coin. On average I only dig about one every two years... not real common for us.

Those are some nice keepers Dave. The end of that skeleton key is huge! Dan and I were hoping to get out later today for our first field hunt of the fall, but it looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate.

Put a bag on the detector, you won't melt. (smiley) After months of no diggy diggy, you must be viberating.

That would be about the same average as me, I've got a total of 4 (I think)

Hope you have a great hunt Bill, I am sure that after the summer hiatus you will just be glad to be out scanning the ground with your buddy, any finds will just be icing on the cake.

When I get a nice LC like that, no silver isn't even a thought in my mind. I've yet to find a watch winder, so I certainly would be happy with that hunt[emoji106]

Nice looking large cent Dave! You're hot on relics! Is that a hairpin on the pic with the brooch? Cool finds!
