Just picked up and ACE 350 For 120$ last week. Found this penny with it, its in really nice shape.

How much do these go for? Or Should I hold onto it.

They made a ton of those. You might get $5-$10. Just hold onto it. It's a beauty and will look great in a display of your finds. I keep a journal of all my finds with pics. It's fun to look back and see where and when you found these things. Whether it's valuable or not I always get an incredible amount of enjoyment finding these old coins and relics. There's a few indian heads from the 1860s and 70s that are fairly valuable and if I recall the 1908s and 1909s are pretty valuable. Great find and keep on digging holes.

Exactly. I don't think that penny ever spent any extended amount of time in the ground.

What would I use to clean it? I found it in the sand under the swings. It was not there long by the looks of it

That makes sense! Maybe a kid's show-and-tell find. I found an old British Penny on top of the ground at an elementary school playground once.

That green patina means its most likely been in the ground 80 + years, and some soils are that mild, sandy soils, and ones without tree roots. Found a 1870s one that was even crisper than that once and it was in clay about 6 inches or so down. Very nice find, don't clean the green off it is part of the coin now, no green = no details, just an FYI =)

Sand preserves coins very well. even 1600's coppers come up with most detail still visible. ACE 350 for 120$, now that's a deal.

That is about the oddest looking Indian head I've ever seen I live in Florida we're almost all sand still never seen one that color.. Just normal oxidation and the p.h. of the oil in people's hands usually turns them darker than that it doesn't even look copper.
Just in the sand under the swings sounds like it hasn't been there very long I'd still be interested in what exactly it's made of unless that's just your camera?.. It's the same color as your wedding band in the second photo

It's not my wedding band. it's a Ring i found at the beach when i was a kid.
The penny Next to it looks more copper, maybe the lighting here at my desk is weird.
