Hey, dudes, I had about an hour to kill today, so I went out datecting. Zoyboy was busy "twinkle" fingering on the keyboard for his 28 page research pay-pa (paper), so he couldn't go with me. My 1st coin was the chipped-a$$ 1911 V-nickel. It was found at a depth of 6" and came out of the same hole with a square nail. My 2nd coin of the day was an 1889 Indian Head.

I guess I didn't have too bad of a day. My thoughts on the day, "A coin is a coin, which is a coin."

I'd say that was a good day too. Do you go to PS Williamsport too? I have a cousin in his freshman year there.
Keep it up.

nice Indian
too bad about the V nickle
it couldn't hurt to try to clean that nickle even it turns black, it'll look better than what it does now.

The V-nic is beyond repair, dude. It was nice to find the Injun and the V after finding only Colonial-era coins this year.
