No idea on the metal,yours is thicker than mine.As for who it is,still no idea:laughing9:It looks about the size of an obituary picture though.It could just be your average person.

Thanks guys. I figured a printing plate but wasn't positive. I was thinking lead for the metal.

Think that it is a silver negative plate from back in the day. Used by professional photographers. I have seen one before and that's what was told to me...

Did the ice melt test on it. As soon as I put an ice cube on it the cube starting melting so fast it was dripping in seconds. Supposedly that means silver? If so not bad for $2 lol

Plus the metal instantly got soooo cold. What do you guys know about this test method.

I'm a printer and it looks like a half tone letterpress plate to me.
A half tone is a picture made up of dots like the one in your find.

Cool find too.

They are usally copper plate Lead,at least the printing plates Ive found where

Took your torch to it...oh no...that's a very rare Charles Lindbergh printing plate...only one other known to exist and it sold at Christys auction for 250,00 dollars....just kidding.
