A real quick way to test if its silver or white gold.Take your find and dip a small part of it in bleach.Silver wont have a reaction, the alloys in the white gold will,it will turn the gold dull.Wash it off immediately, bleach will eat the alloy metal in the gold. This is basically a last resort method.

Not heavy enough for gold, the bleach did not affect it at all but using the face powder trick it did leave a black streak so I still believe it is silver.
Gotta get me a test kit.
Keep talking about it, time to do it and a diamond tester, too.

That's definitely an unusual find, but also a good one. Anything silver is always good.
I never had a clue why people think those things look good though. They also look really uncomfortable.

But, whoever lost them probably thought, "Yeah, I'm cool now".

Congrats.

My guess would be white gold I found a similar item at a bottle dump and it tested positive for gold

hope you get a few bucks from it. I just can't understand how anyone can even think wearing something like that makes them look cool
