Found this old medal today. UCV. Confederate Reunion May 26-29 1913 in Northern Mecklenburg County, NC. There is quite of bit of information about the event on the internet but not much about the medal. Can anyone comment on its rarity and value? Was it worn by confederate civil war veterans?

Beautiful find. I would treasure something like that. They had a reunion at my local church in 1914, but unfortunately where they had the reunion is now a cemetery. I've come across areas that had these reunions, but small write ups in local papers and hardly any photos at all.

Neat find , I found one that has Robert E Lee on it , four or five years ago .
