Finally found something good!

Found these 1921 silver dollars today. First time finding anything of real value. Was bout to give up for the year n pull the batteries out.

In s.w lower Michigan. they were less than 5' away from each other bout 4 to 6 inches down.

Awesome! Well maybe luck is changing for us Barrs. I've still yet to find a silver, but with the wheat pennies I'm digging, I know it's just a matter of time. Great finds!

Thanks! I almost walked away from these. I dug a old steel Budweiser can that was almost completely rusted away. Then I stuck my pinpointer in the same hole and it went crazy. Figured it was just more rusted can, then I seen the first coin. Registered about 94 on my delta. Never seen the numbers that high before. The others were the same Id so I was sure they were more silvers.

Heck, even though they are all '21's, 4 Morgans in one hunt might be worth a banner vote. Well, maybe not, but its a great find. Congrats! Seems like this hobby has a way of throwing something at your discouragement at just the right time.

I was definitely ready to retire my equipment for the year until I found these. Went back to the honey hole tonight after work and found nothing. Time to find another spot to dig up. Not a bad find considering I've only detected total of 30 to 40hrs my whole life.

Hmmm bits of a can and 4 silver dollars, sounds like a cache to me. I'd go back there and dig a nice size hole and run the dirt through a sifter if I were you
