New Detector today !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,
I am a Public Safety diver @ work and sometimes we are called to hunt for evidence as well as drowning victims. I recently ordered a JW Fisher Pulse 8X detector. It finally came in and it is awesome.
We checked the vollyball court @ the fire station and we were finding pull tabs @ 12 inches @ least. Cant wait to use it at one of the local swimming holes.....Later..WWH

My brother works as a certified recovery diver for the local sheriff's department. He's interested in buying an underwater detector.

Tell me why did you pick the Fisher? What's the price range on that? Will it work as well on land as water? Let me know.
