Hi all,
I've been too busy for many hunts but this past Sunday met up with two good friends and we hit a site we've hunted once before, a large camp that is still in use. There is lots of ground to cover and this time we focused on the grassy areas near the main house. We ended up with 5 rings between the 3 of us, I found 3 and Ron and Charlie each found one. I also dug a '57 Rosie and Ron a '41 Merc. It was a gorgeous day to be out and a fun hunt with friends. It was nice to know my Explorer can still sniff out the silver! :laughing7:

My finds cleaned up.

Only the big band was labeled as silver (925 Thailand) but the guys thought all 3 of my rings were silver.
They looked pretty nice coming out of the ground. Not a bad day for a non-water hunter!

Yep, that looks like a fun day, 3 (undamaged too) rings on dry land is a good hunt. Glad you took time out from busy for some enjoyment.

Nice hunt! I found a ring exactly as one of yours. The southwestern Native American Inspired. There's actually a few members who found this same one. I'm sure it happens all the time but it's one that is easily recognizable. Congrats, I love the excitement of pulling rings. looks like a very fun hunt! Hers mine btw

Next year I plan to get into some water hunting. I plan to convert one of my BH machines to a water hunting unit.

I keep hearing that if you do good on the beach you'll do way better in the water but I haven't seriously tried yet. I also have my eye on some old swimming holes, several of which are still in use after many, many years. I'm certain that treasures await.

I sure hope this winter goes by quickly.
