I was able to slip out of work yesterday at 10:00AM. I met up with Smittyman and we headed to the home of TNet member Shovelnose, who was kind enough to take us on a hunt. The place we hunted was an old house, and it really looked good. I got a '44 wheatie and a small broken ring. After a couple of hours we headed out.

I went home for a little rest... about 3:45 I got a text indicating that permission had been granted to hit a little spot near my house. As much as I wanted to nap, I wanted to find treasure even worse, so I got up and headed out. I got to the spot about 4:00 and hunted for a little over 2 hours. I harvested about 70 coins, including a three wheat spill of 1912, 1917 and no date. Then my little friend Ms. Merc showed up. NICE.

That is silver coin # 41 YTD.
Thanks for looking and good luck.

Way to go buddy, I'm up late tweeking my new machine, glad to see your making me jelly.

I kept looking to see what you had found with that new monster. Between learning it and the CTX, you're gonna be a busy guy before winter!

Awesome Tom!! keeping the silver streak alive, I see!? lol..Looks like a nice, productive day. Reminds me of the days I don't want to wander around in a field digging livestock tags and horseshoes, and just go straight to a place with plentiful targets and HAVE AT IT! Nothing wrong with farms, tags and horseshoes mind you..I do it QUITE a lot myself...but man, sometimes we just need to stretch our legs and pop some goodies out! (PLEASE NOTE: I am an admitted quarter whore..there I've said it..) Decent haul..have fun cleaning! lol...thanks for sharing...ddf
