No way! I've got something to show you. image-2501608046.jpg image-2046631560.jpg image-60388052.jpg
Your handle is from the Baird North Company. Late 1800s. I dug that spoon on a point and the T monogram matches the last name of the family that point is named for. It's my favorite spoon. Great finds for sure

Nice spoon! I've found 3 silver plate in the last week in my yard, one really shiny but only "reinforced plate".

I couldn't believe it when I saw yours. They're beautiful spoons. I've been lucky to find a few nice silver spoons this first year. Those will be nice additions to your collection

My handle is missing the business end but that's ok. The other spoon I found is absolutely flawless so I'll take the good and the bad. Again cheers

I kinda' like the coin. It has a neat reverse.

Thanks. I'm kind of warming up to it. I was a bit disappointed when I found it since I thought it was a large American copper at first glance

Great looking silver spoon and the handle isn't too shabby either. Good chance that the other part is buried around under some iron at the site.

No Scrappy No!!!!!!!! Don't ever give up your treasure bud lol I had to hide mine in my man cave. My gf gets kinds freaked out by some of this stuff so I'm safe anyway. She thinks I'm bringing some weird spirits into the house lol. I have found some round balls and some bones together at an old fort site with lots of native/settler fighting. It is interesting to think about what may have happened there
