Beach vs Dirt

I would like to retract a statement I made a while ago. While I still love old coins a nd relics, I have fallen in love with the beach! 3 1/2 years of dirt digging and I have found 2 gold rings, 3 months of beach detecting and I have found 6 gold rings. My latest one found today shown below. In half an hour I found 45 coins, 2 silver earrings, bling and this beautiful 14k ring with some kind of pink stone. And by the way, the Minelab Sovereign is a monster!!!!

Nice find, beach detecting rocks, digging in sand is much easier then digging dirt and in the woods digging under tree roots.
