2 more digs on new field and some JDUG swag.

The 1st day I got into a little area I had been over with the 15" DD commander but the 18" brought it back to life with .69's. There is a predominant row with 3 hot spots that are about 30 paces apart. On the 2nd dig I decided to go back to my initial 1st pass across the field and got a lot of camp lead. I had done 2 test passes my 1st time on this field, 1 straight across and the diagonal. The diagonal pass got me into the 1st hot spot , that eventually turned into what I think is a company row. That row lined up with the pass I did from the 1st trip and was the right distance to be another row, so I gave it a shot. I was cruising along digging camp lead and clearing random big iron when I got a signal I couldn't clear. 2 foot down I ended up with a chunk over a foot long and a decent ash line that lead me to a beautiful clay ink. Time to breakout the probe?
As if my day wasn't going great already, I get home and momma surprises me with some awesome swag.

Totally agree on it's PROBE time, nice one on the clay ink, always a hard one to get intact where I dug always broken as it seemed to be from frost damage.

It's a little rocky but doable. If I get below the freeze and plow line there.
