With the weatherman throwing around that four letter word, I figured I needed at least
one more hunt. Actually, I'm feeling like there will be more. :dontknow:

But, anyway, my last hunt was basically a relic hunt and that's not what my fan base wants. (;) LOL)

Like vino who thinks I'm only capable of finding clad. ( ;) LOL )

At least it makes my posts shorter, hopefully less boring. :)

Counting down the year with an unknown number of hunts left, here's today's:

Well, I DID say, "and a half" ;) .

Blingie and Fishy seem happy.

Thanks for peeking!

I still have not found a single clad half or new dollars (including Ikes and "gold" dollars). I think finding a clad half dollar is harder than finding a silver half dollar, but me and most people would prefer the silver half dollar. That clad will bay for new batteries for your metal detector, though banks look at me crazy when I hand them rolls of dirty clad, I try to put a shiny coin on each end though lol.

I've been in the hobby nine months and have dug up 1600 coins. No half dollars yet. They are RARE. I did find one of those presidential dollars, though.

Coinman123,

Yep, all true. Harder to find than a silver half, rare breed, as evidenced by your lack of them. ;)

Also, would add up quicker and add to the battery fund quicker. Trouble is, if it was silver, it would be useless. That's right,
worthless. To me anyway. Ya see, if I'd found a silver half, it would just sit in my collection until I passed.

But, a clad half? IF I would part with it, at least I'd have 50 cents. ;)

Thanks!

Lots of good finds & didn't snow on you. WTG WF!!, Q.

Yeah, Mr. Q! I have to admit, this was a pure fun hunt! Not super cold, no snow and turned a few coins. Even a
nice surprise!

Sometimes, one just HAS to get out and let it fly! Ya know? ;)

Save some warm down there for me, maybe one of these days we'll try it together!

Thanks!
