Today's finds

I found a new little park to detect... Before it was a park, it was a private nursery that was started back in the early 1920's. In the early 1960's, it became a retail nursery and in one corner of the park, I found the old parking lot from the 60's that had never been detected. I found 46 coins that were all dated in the 60's. I also found a girl scout pin. No silver :'( Tomorrow I'm going to go back and seek if I can at least find a few wheaties and some silver.

Nice site! That many coins from hte 60's could mean the place wasn't cherry-picked by others very well. Good hunting!

Sounds promising SB. Good luck and hope you do well once you get all those new 60's coins out of the way! ;) CO2
