Had some free time this afternoon so I decided to hit the outgoing tide today for two specific reasons, coins and glass..Since I only had a few hours of time before the flip, I had little time to spare..


1915 Barber, 1942 Washington, and a Merc...plus a ton of wheaties and a silver tag of sorts..

Nice finds Mucky, I like river and bay hunting myself better then sandy ocean beaches. The mud and dirt base of rivers and bays holds the goodies in the ground beter then the sand base of the ocean.

Sounds like a fun beach! How is the Sea Glass there? Keep an eye out for color. White, brown, green, probably not worth your time, but Orange, Red, Blue, lavender, pick em up!

How far are you from New City?? Can you see the Hudson from where they live. I have a Aunt who lives in new City

within a 10 mile radius

I was hunting the tidal section of the hudson river

No coins or glass today, but I did nail a decent 26 inch striper caught on blood worms on the incoming high tide. Hey, at least I have dinner tonight.
