Went out Tuesday in the bad weather to button hill. Ended up getting 14 button including a beautiful open faced colonial button. First of that kind for me. Brings my total button count from here to 261. Can I reach 300 before the year is over??? Thanks for looking!

Matt - here are a few openwork buttons I've stumbled across in my digs. These are some of my favorite buttons to find.

Wow! great buttons.. I love to find the buttons.. I think you have more than one colonial for sure. a couple may be Tombacs too. Very interesting, sounds like a great hill. HH

HMMMMM! you must have found a chinease laundry site and if a button fell off they just threw it out the window or a brothel. just sayin thats more buttons than a army could lose. HH

I agree. I don't think it was camps. We've nearly hit 500 buttons.

I mean that would explain the coins as well. Mostly cents and half cents. Equivalent to our 1 and $2 bills :-)
