A lot of clad, silver quarter, sterling ring, and a little bling, something for everyone. I am still learning my newly acquired MX5 and it is a monster in IDing quarters.....anytime I find over $10.00 in clad, a silver coin, and a gold or silver ring, I have had a good day......so enjoy!!

Thanks, cjon455......yes, very pleased with the Whites MX5.....here is what I found just last Saturday 12/20 at the same county High School where I found the above yesterday:
36 quarters, 13 dimes, 2 nickels, 35 cents but no silver or rings.....so decided to go back.....glad I did........HH, Bill

Thanks, Ron......I was born in Illinois and lived there until 1988.....so the majority of my best gold and silver finds were in Knox county during the 1970's and 80's......Happy Hunting and Good Luck.........Bill

That is a LOT of digging. How I wish I had gotten into this hobby 25 years ago when the back and knees were still good. Great job on the silver Washington quarter. It's a nice one.

Thanks, Jay(beez)......on my MX5, clad quarters reads a solid 83-84, but on the silver quarter it read a solid 86 VDI.....and clad halfs read 88.....so was glad to see the silver in the hole.....kinda like your 1884 Silver Dollar you found 3 weeks ago with your XP Deus that read a solid 97.....Nice, right?........Happy New Year.....and wishing you and ALL t-net members Good Luck for 2015.
