A classic nickel signal gives me Gold today...

Funny thing about it my buddy Ed(upstate) and I were just talking about with all the nickels we find why aren't we finding more gold no more then three minutes later the first plug I dig BAM a gold ring sitting at the bottom of the plug it was a classic nickel signal I called Ed over and showed him what I found we just busted out laughing it looks to be a signet ring 10K with a small stone also three wheats.... Excellent point, George. Heck, I even dig the penny signals.......they have resulted in a lot of dimes and silver rings, plus, a Union Civil War token dated 1863!

Nickel signals always get me excited...most times its a nickel but as you know, sometimes its that beautiful yellow metal...congrats on the gold.

The letter looks like an "N" for Nickel. It's probably an "H" but it's cool it looks like an N for that nickel signal!

I also thought it was an N but its an H ugly ring I think but its gold...
