I found an 1863 half dime. I can't really find an accurate value of the coin. I also found a small, round belt buckle (about the size of a silver dollar) on the property of a home built in 1840. Can anyone help with info on either? Thanks! buckle.jpg coin.jpg coin1.jpg

Well the 1863 can't be a 63 cause it's a shield nickel and they went minted til 66. Can we see the back of the other piece?

be2019 is right. An 1868 Shield Nickel with stars, not rays. It has draped garland above the shield, with the date below. Anywhere from $6 up to $15 in that condition. A very nice find
