First Ever Gold!!!!!!!! 2015

I went out to the beach today with my Garrett At Pro hoping to find something good to start the year.
I didn't find much, there wasn't much signals around.
I even had trouble finding coins which are usually what I find.
Fed up, I started to pack up to leave to another beach which produced lots before.
Before I left I got a signal... I dug it but it was just a pull tab
Some random guy walked by and asked me "did you find anything?"
I replied "no", he laughed and walked away.
A few metres from where i had found that pull tab i get a 47 signal on my AT Pro.
I dug it thinking it was another piece of foil but then.... I saw a ring.
I thought it was just a junk ring but it looked too good to be not made of gold.
So I looked for hall marks and saw a faint 375 mark on it.
It was GOLD!!!!!

So even if you think it's rubbish, just dig it!!!

In 9 years of MDing, I've found 3 gold rings, 1 of which was very valuable and sold for a good amount. I have no idea how many silver rings...dozens though. They are out there and it's always a shock to dig one. Nice finds !
