Ya know? I just don't see the difference. ;)

2015 (1).jpg

The day was just too nice to pass up so I thought I'd try for my first 2015 hunt.

When I got out of my car, there in the next parking spot was this
ummmmm, spill. :)

2015 (2).jpg

Now, I am not opposed to bending over and picking up some
free hardware for my junk drawer. Never know when you might
need one of these in this size. LOL

But, I gotta ask. If you showed up for your first hunt of the year
and you saw this screw spill, might you have just gone back home
and waited for another day? LOL

Anyway.....

2015 (3).jpg

I tell ya! Pull tabs are bad enough!
But GOLD colored ones!?!?!

I say FOUL! :angry4:

2015 (4).jpg
2015 (5).jpg
2015 (6).jpg

I don't know what a zik-zok is :dontknow: .

2015 (7).jpg

But, the earring is silver. :)

2015 (8).jpg

Can't complain. I ended last year with a silver
and now I get a silver on my very first hunt
of the new year? Nope, can't complain. :)

Thanks for peeking and HH everyone in 2015!

Sure beats the 30 minute first hunt of 2015 I had. Congrats on the silver! Hope you don't get the deep freeze we're supposed to this week. I might be done for the next 3-4 months.

Today was a fluke, it's supposed to be freezing tomorrow. So, unless I can find some unfrozen ground in a woods somewhere, I may be done for a while too.

Where there's a will, and all that. :)

Thanks!

Great finds. I found the same little ZIK-ZOK pendant on the beach in O.C. It's a hip jewelry co. I think it's silver! WTG!

First hunt of the new year and you're already pulling silver out of the ground. You're just an animal! Supposed to be in the teens at night here this week, of course it goes into the 40s during the day. Wishing you continued success this year.

You tell him, CJ! Don't you guys have any trees/woods up there?!?! How about having a bonfire in a field, then come back when it goes out? ;) Or maybe use some of that treasure and take a trip to the warmer climes and do some beachcombing! LOL

Always a way!! :)

Silver at the end and beginning! Nice! WTG!
Blingie is living high!

Are you kidding me? That's at lest a couple of bucks in hardware! I once hopped out of the truck in a Walmart parking lot for a .99 penny spill! Much to the Chagrin of hubby! Lol!

Ya those gold pop tops should be outlawed that's just WRONG!

Dig we must....any way we can! Hmmm, wonder what a chain saw can do to frozen ground?

I always knew the Eastern Shore was good for something! LOL
It was always good for my bassing trips in the summer! :)

I checked the Zik-Zok charm because of your hint, Evidently it is some sort of low grade silver!
The acid turned a bit of a blue green color though. 65-75 % maybe.
How about that! TWO pieces of silver on the first trip!!
But, also the piece seems to have
a very low magnetic quality to it, is that possible?

In any case, thanks for the tip!

Don't think the owners will allow a fire, although I really wish the one would mow the grass in his fields. I have only hunted 1 1/2 of his 5. If I went to the beach, I'd probably trip over my tongue and break my detector! If it warms up above 20 F on my days off, maybe a trip to the woods isn't out of the question thoughπŸ˜‰

Just don't get shot! Funny how a detector can be mistaken for antlers! ;)

Where I'm thinking, there is more danger from bears, lol. Last year when I went there, I scared one away. It is in a Safety Zone ( no hunting allowed because of nearby houses ) so IF the dear old deer hunters obey the laws, and the dear old bears are in hibernation, I should be good.

If you were hunting a school...looks like you'll be able to get into the janitor's closet now.
