Back in Florida

We are so happy to be in Florida for the next few months. Especially the fact it's 20 below zero back home in S Dakota. Anyway I was able to hit the beach today and found some clad, a few wheats, a silver dime, & some other junk. I also found what I think to be a home made ring of some sort. No markings and it rang up as iron....any thoughts?
