It was a beautiful day to beep!!! mid 70's, breezy, just beautiful.

Hooked up with my long-lost hunting buddy Frank today, and hit up my old neighborhood... We started out on an empty lot that I have been pounding for the past few months, it is still generous with wheats and clad, then over to a virgin lot, which we know has more secrets waiting for us. I am able to hunt a lot more often than him, but I think I will hold off on beeping the rest of this new lot, and save it for us to do together another time. I was happy for my bud, he found a few wheats, but I was the lucky one to find the only silver for the day....this nice 1945 Merc. Also, the coolest find of the day was the vintage 200 bowling pin....its in mint condition, because I found it in its original little plastic baggie!

Good for you, Dave!!
It's nice you have someone to go with you sometime.
How old do ya think the bowling pin is?? Any idea??
Is there by chance a bowling center near you??
Just wondering...

There are several alleys here in my city, and if I had to guess, I would say 60's or 70's.... I tried to find the exact same one, and found one on the bay in a 3 piece lot..so vintage? I think so. I know the only time I ever broke 200 at the alley years ago, I didn't get a pin...now I got one:tongue3:
