    Missouri river bottoms

Out with my son along the river. Deserted area mostly, a few fishermen and turkey hunters occasionally fight their way in. 1902 V nick, pretty beat up and rotted but still cool and my oldest find yet,,,, little bit of clad, 1958 wheat in real nice shape. Nice to get out on a warm 58 degree day. Have some pics of the area and the river but cant get 'em to post.

Was once the main northern route into town, all closed off when the new highway was built. A lot of flooding occurs here some years so hence the new route. lots of old fishing camps, hobo jungles, etc. And varmints,,,ha!
